The Dallas Cowboys (3-5-1) have released their inactives for their Week 11 Monday Night Football matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders (2-7). This will be the first game the team will play without defensive Marshawn Kneeland, who died on Nov. 6.

Ahead of the game, the Cowboys activated safety Malik Hooker off of injured reserve. He has not played since Week 4, as he’s been dealing with a toe injury. Monday night will be the first time that the Cowboys will have Hooker and fellow starting safety Donovan Wilson on the field together.

On Saturday, the Cowboys announced they will not have defensive lineman Solomon Thomas available tonight. Thomas suffered a calf injury ahead of the bye week, and it requires a little more time to heal.

As mentioned earlier, the Cowboys will be playing with heavy hearts because of what happened with Kneeland. It will be challenging, but the Cowboys are committed to doing everything they can to earn a win.

“We had an opportunity last night to celebrate Marshawn’s life, tell some stories, share, laugh, cry,” Cowboys head coach  Brian Schottenheimer said last week. “Marshawn loved the words One Love, so we talked a lot about love as we grieve. I got a chance to really share a couple of things that I’ll miss the most about Marshawn.

“Those top couple of things was he had the most playful spirit of any young man I’ve been around. His smile could take you to your knees. And in terms of him as an athlete, no one had a better motor than him. My heart is heavy, our team’s heart is heavy. We don’t move on, but we do move forward.”
