The Dallas Cowboys (4-2) come out of their bye week perhaps the healthiest they’ve been since the start of the season, looking for their second straight victory.

Week 8 sees the Cowboys host the Los Angeles Rams (3-4), who suffered a Week 7 defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2). The injury report was light all week long, with only defensive back Juanyeh Thomas listed with a hamstring injury. Thomas logged three consecutive days of full practices and is a go for Sunday.

The same can’t be said for left tackle Tyron Smith, who was a late addition to the injury report this week with a neck issue. Listed as questionable after practicing in limited fashion Thursday and Friday, Smith is out for Sunday’s contest and won’t be protecting the blindside of quarterback Dak Prescott.

Speaking of Prescott, Sunday’s game is another important one for the 30-year-old, who has faced criticism for his play this season. He quieted some his doubters by leading Dallas to a 20-17 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers (2-4) in Week 6, and will look to do the same in Week 8.

“I’ve been in this organization eight years, whether you b***h about it or not, it’s not going to stop. That’s just how it goes,” Prescott said this week. “To me, it’s fun. Because when things go our way and we win this thing, it’s going to make it all that much sweeter. Say what you want, we get to go out there and we get to do it.”
