Daniel Suárez resigns with Trackhouse Racing for 2025, keeps Freeway Insurance as sponsor

For the 2025 season, Daniel Suárez is back with Trackhouse Racing in the No. 99 car and is bringing Freeway Insurance along, too. With his ticket punch to the NASCAR Playoffs this season, it is not surprising to see this signing.
Daniel Suárez had signed a multi-year contract in 2023. However, it appears that likely included a team option for 2025. Now, Trackhouse announces that Suárez will remain with the 99 team for one more season.
Keeping Freeway Insurance is a big deal. Sponsorship matters. Justin Marks and Trackhouse Racing like Suárez, he was their first driver. He keeps getting results and contract extensions.
2025 will be year five of the Trackhouse and Suárez relationship. The 32 year old from Monterrey, Mexico has accomplished a lot with the organization. With another trip to the playoffs locked up, he has earned at least another year in the 99 car.
Freeway Insurance will make up one-third of the sponsorship duties in 2025. That includes the Daytona 500 and NASCAR All-Star Race.
“Everyone at Trackhouse Racing is pleased to continue the relationship with Daniel and Freeway Insurance,” said team co-owner Justin Marks in a press release. “Daniel has been vital to this team and its culture since the first day. Freeway joined that same year and we have all continued to grow together and will continue into 2025.”

Justin Marks is juggling a lot of talent over at Trackhouse. Ross Chastain, Daniel Suárez, Shane van Gisbergen, and Zane Smith are all worthy of Cup Series seats. Although Smith has lagged behind in 2024. Then there is Connor Zilisch, the development driver who will tackle the Xfinity Series full-time next season for JR Motorsports.
For now, Suárez has a job in the Cup Series.
Daniel Suárez happy to be back with Trackhouse
Of course, no one is happier about the news than Daniel Suárez. Fresh off of his wedding in Brazil and his great showing in NASCAR Brasil over the break, Suárez received his best wedding present this week, another year in the Cup Series.
The Mexican-American driver, who also became a U.S. Citizen this year, is excited.
“Trackhouse is home to me and I have enjoyed every minute I have been here,” said Suárez. “We plan to keep working, growing and winning more races. We can only do that with the support of my Amigos and Amigas at Freeway Insurance. They have backed me for the last several years and we have grown close with their customers and employees.”
Sponsorship locked down. Another contract extension signed. Now, it’s time to perform and prove that it is deserved. Daniel Suárez and Trackhouse Racing are staying together.
