Deion Sanders reacts to son Shedeur's viral locker room interview: 'Good 1 son'

Shedeur Sanders caused a national reaction on Wednesday with his non-verbal answer to Dillon Gabriel being named the new starter for the Cleveland Browns. One person who did get a laugh out of it, though, was his dad, Deion Sanders.
On Instagram, @welloffforever posted the video on Wednesday of Sanders miming in response to the quarterback change in Cleveland. Coach Prime was then in the comments on the reel, laughing at his son’s antics.
“Good 1 son. You did that,” Sanders posted with multiple laughing emojis.
This obviously stems from Sanders remaining the third-string quarterback in Cleveland amidst the change on the depth chart. Gabriel, Cleveland’s third-round pick in this spring’s draft, is taking the place of Joe Flacco, the 40-year-old who was completing 58.1% of his throws for 203.8 yards per game with two touchdowns and six interceptions, with eight total turnovers with two lost fumbles through the 1-3 start for the Browns. Sanders, a fifth-round pick, is still at QB3 for Cleveland.
Few others seem as entertained by this from Sanders, as he tries to get his opportunity in the NFL. Still, Deion is all for it based on this comment on his son’s behavior.

Schefter reveals bizarre Shedeur Sanders move was clapback at Rex Ryan
ESPN’s Adam Schefter provided some additional context behind the strange behavior of Shedeur Sanders, only miming his answers and moving his lips without actually speaking, when asked about the news that Dillon Gabriel would replace Joe Flacco as the Browns’ starting quarterback. According to Schefter, the awkward moment was actually a response to comments made by Rex Ryan, the former coach and now analyst at ESPN.
“We’re all waiting to see this, Shedeur Sanders be the guy, or Gabriel or whatever,” Ryan said on Monday on ‘Get Up’. “Something’s missing. Something’s missing with this kid. This kid talks – he runs his mouth like – ‘I could be a starting quarterback’ with his arms crossed like this. Get your ass in the front row and study and do all that.
“If I know, the whole league knows. Quit being an embarrassment that way. You’ve got the talent to be the quarterback. You should be embarrassed that you’re not the quarterback.”
