DeVonta Smith gets engaged to girlfriend Mya Danielle on New Year’s Eve

DeVonta Smith is engaged.

The Philadelphia Eagles wideout proposed to his girlfriend Mya Danielle on New Year’s Eve, she revealed on Instagram. Veteran sports anchor Rick Karle shared photos of the proposal on the rooftop of the W Philadelphia Hotel.

“Went on a ROCK climbing adventure with my forever tonight,” Danielle captioned her post.

Smith and Danielle first made their relationship known in June 2023, according to People.com. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Kyse, in October 2023. They recently announced that they are expecting their second child.

DeVonta Smith helps Eagles lock up NFC East

Things get better and better for Smith off the field, as well as on it. The Eagles, sitting at 13-3, have locked up the NFC East and will rest their starters in Sunday’s Week 18 home contest against the New York Giants (3-13).

Smith has once again been a big part of Philadelphia’s success, hauling in a team-leading 68 receptions for 833 yards and eight touchdowns. Smith, who has played in just 13 games, will fall short of the 1,000-yard mark for the first time since his rookie season.
