Draymond Green destroys NBA over letting Rising Stars play in All-Star Game

The NBA All-Star Game has usually been a place reserved for just NBA All-Stars. However, in light of recent dropping ratings for the NBA, commissioner Adam Silver tried to do some things differently and that new format doesn’t sit well with a number of stars with Draymond Green being one of them.
The league has a tournament scheduled for Sunday evening, which places the All-Stars against the Rising Stars in a tournament format.
On TNT on Sunday evening, the four-time NBA Champion and four-time All-Star sounded off on the new format, saying they shouldn’t allow Rising Stars to touch the same floor as the NBA All-Stars.
“And she’s right. Something that no one wants to see. I had to work so hard to play on Sunday night of All-Star Weekend. And because ratings are down. Because the game’s bad, we’re bringing in Rising Stars? That’s not a fix. I never played in the Rising Stars Game. My first two years, I didn’t touch that game. And these guys get to touch the All-Star floor? On Sunday night? Like, when the floor is the floor,” Green exclaimed.
“You know in America, the President has Air Force One. Right? They have several of those planes. It’s only Air Force One if the President is on it. That’s the All-Star floor. You have the court. You have the events. It’s a nice looking court. When All-Stars are on the court, now it’s the All-Star court. Those guys (Rising Stars) did not make the All-Star team. To be playing in the All-Star Game, when you did not make the All-Star team is absurd,” Green vented.
