Eagles fan who harassed Packers fan at Wild Card game identified, reportedly banned from Lincoln Financial Field
The Philadelphia Eagles fan who harassed a Green Bay Packers fan during the Wild Card playoff game on Sunday has been identified by the team, and the punishment process has begun. According to TMZ Sports, the Eagles have found out the name of the man going after a Packers fan during the Eagles’ 22-10 win. The fan could likely be banned from Lincoln Financial Field, but the Eagles are still evaluating the situation.
Packers content creator Alexander Basara attended the game with his fiancée and published the video of his partner getting harassed by the Eagles fan. “What it’s like going to Philly just trying to root for your team… Unprovoked, uncalled for,” Basara wrote in the post. “Packers Twitter, help me out and find this guy…. this is not okay I hate that my fiancé had this happen simply cheering for her team.”
In another post, Basara added: “Just realized he’s… MARRIED. Wonder if his wife knows what he’s saying to (a) woman half his age at the Eagles games.”
The Eagles fan reportedly works for BCT Partners, and the company released a statement. “The management at BCT Partners has been made aware of a video circulating involving an employee making offensive remarks outside the workplace,” the statement read. “BCT Partners denounces this type of behavior, and we take this matter extremely seriously.

More on the Eagles and Packers fan altercation
“As an organization that has always stood for inclusivity, this conduct displayed was completely unacceptable and stands in direct opposition to our company values. We have already begun a full investigation as an internal personnel matter to determine what actions will be taken.”
Basara and his fiancée not only had to deal with harassment from an Eagles fan, but they witnessed the Packers exiting the playoffs early. Packers QB Jordan Love had a rough performance on Sunday, throwing for 212 yards and three interceptions. The Packers ended the season by losing its last three games.
“Couldn’t finish,” Packers tight end Tucker Kraft said after the game, per Packers.com. “That’s what I think of this team. We’re all sitting in here, in this locker room with frowns on our faces. People packing their (stuff), ready to go home. People talking about the offseason, vacations. That’s just a bunch a crock of (stuff), man. We should be getting ready to play the next game in the postseason.”
