Eagles WR A.J. Brown reacts to Cowboys trading for George Pickens: 'We're going to have to worry about them'

AJ Brown believes the Dallas Cowboys will be dangerous in 2025 after they traded for George Pickens earlier this month. During a discussion with his fans posted on his YouTube channel, the star Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver shared his thoughts on the trade.
“We’re going to have to worry about (Dallas), for sure,” he said, per NFL.com. “We’re going to have to worry about them. No, I like the trade. I do like the trade. I like the competition. I like George Pickens, I like CeeDee Lamb. And they collab. It’s going to be exciting to watch. Because all that does is bring the best out of us. So, if we know how they coming, we are going to have to step it up.”
The Cowboys made the move to keep up with the Eagles, who won the Super Bowl in February. The addition of George Pickens gives Dallas a top WR tandem as he will be paired with Lamb. But the Eagles are not lacking in the receiver department as AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith could be the best WR tandem in the NFL.
Brown knows the Cowboys games are going to be tough since they are division rivals. The Eagles defeated the Cowboys in both games last year, but Dallas didn’t have Dak Prescott since he was dealing with a hamstring injury.

Pickens spent his first three seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 48 games, the former Georgia Bulldogs star caught 174 passes for 2,841 yards and 12 touchdowns.

“I’m excited,” Prescott said on The Ticket last week, per DallasCowboys.com. “You turn on the tape and you see a guy that can catch the football. You put the football anywhere in his vicinity, very strong hands, more than a 50/50 catcher, he thinks it’s his ball when it’s in the air. I’m excited for him.”
Most fans would say that Lamb is the Cowboys’ No. 1 receiver, and Pickens is WR2. But Lamb doesn’t believe that will be the case when they hit the field this fall.
“We’re both No. 1s,” Lamb told DLLS Cowboys. “It ain’t no [1A, 1B situation], none of that. It’s No. 1. You look over there, you see No. 1. You look over here, you see another No. 1. So do what you gotta do with that.”
