Ed Orgeron fires up fans with 'U-S-A!' chant ahead of 2025 Ryder Cup

One of the most anticipated Ryder Cups in recent memory is on the way this weekend at Bethpage Black. And former coach Ed Orgeron is on the scene, helping to get the Americans pumped up for the major tournament.
Orgeron was spotted at Bethpage Black on Tuesday, riling up the fans and rousing cheers for the good old U.S. of A. You can check him out leading a chant below.
The former head coach was also seen shaking hands with some of the players. Then, of course, he led them into another USA chant.
The former LSU head coach has certainly been enjoying his time out of coaching the last few years. He has popped up at various sporting events, like the Ryder Cup, taking things in and enjoying his time out from under the microscope.
But the former coach indicated recently he might get back into coaching. He noted on Pardon My Take that he’s getting the itch to be back on the sidelines.

“I think it’s time,” Orgeron said. “I’m feeling it a little bit. Haven’t made the decision totally, but I’ve got my boys settled, coaching football now. It’s been four years since I’ve been out. I’m getting the itch again.”
In the meantime, it looks like Orgeron will be out at the Ryder Cup cheering on the home nation. It figures to be an intense competition.
Keegan Bradley picks Ryder Cup team
U.S. Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley announced last month the 12-man roster that will go head-to-head against Team Europe at Bethpage Black in Long Island, N.Y., Sept. 26-28. Six players automatically qualified on points. Bradley was tasked with picking six players to round out the roster.
The big question was whether Bradley would pick himself, thus becoming the first U.S. captain to play since Arnold Palmer in 1963. Bradley chose not to play, instead going with Sam Burns with his final captain’s pick.
