Erin Andrews on working with Tom Brady: 'His insight is some of the best'

Erin Andrews has kicked off her second season of working with Tom Brady at Fox Sports and has enjoyed the experience. On3 recently caught up with Andrews, and she revealed what she likes the most about working with the seven-time Super Bowl-champion quarterback.
“He’s a good friend of mine. We’ve been good friends for a while. He’s one of the best storytellers on and off the field,” Erin Andrews told On3 about Tom Brady before their Week 1 game between the New York Giants and Washington Commanders. “I mean, the guy’s been through so much in his NFL career, and to just tell these stories, you sit there sometimes and you think to yourself, oh my gosh, I am sitting in a meeting room right now listening to Tom Brady break down a player or break down something that happened in his career. It doesn’t get much better than that. I got to go through that with Troy Aikman, also Greg Olsen. So it’s pretty special.”

Andrews continued: “His insight is some of the best. And he’s the GOAT. So we’re so fortunate to hear what he has to say, give his opinions, analyze the play, analyze the teams. It’s no secret I’m very, very tight with my crew; they’re very much my second family when I have to be away from my real family. So I can’t wait for Saturday night. We always go to dinner together, our entire crew. There’s a lot of busting each other’s chops, which is so much fun. And then just talking football, which I’ve missed doing for the last six months.”
Brady joined Fox Sports last year and is the color commentator for the network’s top NFL broadcast team. Andrews works on the sidelines with Tom Rinaldi, and Kevin Burkhardt is the play-by-play voice.
