Fan requests $50 from CeeDee Lamb Venmo for getting injured
Not every Cowboys fan is feeling grateful this Thanksgiving. After Dallas’ 27-20 win over the New York Giants on Thursday, one particularly frustrated fan discovered what appears to be Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb‘s Venmo account and requested $50 from him.
His reason for the request? “Dropping 3 passes and getting ‘injured’ to ruin my parlays.”
Although the Cowboys escaped with a victory on Thursday, it was far from Lamb’s best performance. The All-Pro wide receiver recorded just two catches for 39 total yards in the win.
Worse, on a play that resulted in defensive pass interference in the third quarter, Lamb appeared to suffer an upper-body injury. After clutching at his shoulder following the play, Lamb returned to action on the following snap.
However, after only one play, Lamb trotted off the field and didn’t return to the game. Evidently, Lamb’s decision to play it safe spelled disaster for several Cowboys fans who decided to take a gamble on Thursday evening.
While the Cowboys did not provide a reason for Lamb leaving the game, FOX Sports sideline reporter Erin Andrews provided some insight into the situation.

“Well, coming into this game, CeeDee Lamb was dealing with an AC joint injury. He’s banged up,” Andrews said. “I talked to him this week. He said, ‘Look, this has been a tough year. I am very, very banged up.’ We saw him fall right there, but Dallas isn’t saying he’s out for any particular reason. But you guys know it, Tom [Brady] knows it better than anyone. This is the time of year where guys are hurting.”
The Cowboys improved to 5-7 with the win, while the Giants fell to 2-10. Dallas has now won back-to-back games after dropping five straight earlier in the season. Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons believes Dallas is getting hot at the right time and will be dangerous down the stretch.
“To be honest, it’s really been why not us?” Parsons said after the game. “Everybody counted us out. And it was just like, enough’s enough. We know what we’ve got. We know what we can do here. And I believe in every one of these guys. I believe we’re going to turn it around and make a run.”
