The stage is set for an exciting clash between two Florida-based rivals in Week 14, with the Florida Gators traveling to Tallahassee to take on the Florida State Seminoles.
Ahead of the showdown, FanDuel Sportsbook has released the early point spread for the showdown, and Florida is favored by 13.5 points at the moment. Additionally, the over/under has been set at 46.5 points for the conference battle.
The rivalry between Florida and Florida State dates back to 1958. It’s become known as the Sunshine Showdown. At the moment, the Gators lead the all-time series with a record of 37–28–2.
Last season it was the Seminoles who came away victorious though. Florida State capped off their unbeaten regular season with a 24–15 win over the Gators. Those were certainly better times for the Seminoles.

Time will tell, but Florida and Florida State will both be giving it their all when they link up.

Florida State will play for pride in this one as Florida looks to improve upon a late season surge. Sure, the Gators are only 6-5, but head coach Billy Napier turned things around and there could be a bright future in 2025.
