Florida Gators offensive line standout O’Cyrus Torrence is a wanted man. The potential first-round draft pick in the 2023 NFL Draft is visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Commanders this week, according to Tom Pelissero.

Torrence is starting with the Steelers on Wednesday then traveling to D.C on Thursday. The two teams have back-to-back first-round picks this month at No. 16 and No. 17. The Commanders pick first however, meaning the Steelers may need to trade up if Torrence is their guy.

According to Pro Football Focus, the former Gators guard was the top-rated guard in the nation in 20022 with a grade of 88.0. He didn’t allow a sack or quarterback hit during his career and didn’t allow a hurry or commit a penalty in 698 snaps this season.

Torrence made history with his All-American status this season. Out of the five publications used to determine unanimous and Consensus All-Americans, he earned first-team honors in four of them (Walter Camp, Associated Press, The Sporting News, AFCA). He was on the second team for one (Football Writers Association of America).

The Gators could have multiple prospects go in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft, despite a disappointing season overall. Quarterback Anthony Richardson is in the conversation to be the first quarterback off the board.

More on the Steelers 2023 NFL Draft

The 2023 NFL Draft takes place from Thursday, April 27 through Saturday, April 29 in Kansas City, Missouri. The event location this year is the plaza just outside of Union Station.

Round 1 of the NFL Draft begins at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, Apr. 27. Rounds 2-3 will begin at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, Apr. 28, and Rounds 4-7 will begin at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday, Apr. 29. The draft broadcast runs throughout the weekend on both ESPN and NFL Network.

The Steelers have seven draft picks coming up later this month, including five in each of the first four rounds. Their first pick is No. 17 overall. They also have pick No. 32 overall from Chicago and No. 49 in the second round.

Pittsburgh has also had top-30 visits from Miami cornerback Tyrique Stevenson, NC State guard Chandler Zavala and several more so far. Offensive linemen, defensive backs and defensive linemen seem to be the priority positions for the Steelers with these visits. Visits from local prospects don’t count for the Steelers as “official” top-30 visits.
