This year’s storylines aside, there’s no shortage of incentive for each team in the matchup. The Florida-Georgia rivalry is one of the most storied in all of college football.

The two teams have played each other annually since 1926, with an exception in 1943 due to World War II. Georgia boasts a 56-44-2 all-time record against the Gators. Their bragging rights have only increased in recent years.

The Bulldogs have won the last four meetings between the two programs. Most recently, Georgia defeated Florida 34-20 last season. Alas, Georgia’s win came with an asterisk.

Florida quarterback DJ Lagway left last year’s game in the second quarter due to a hamstring injury. The sophomore QB will be hungry for redemption on Saturday.

The Bulldogs and Gators will clash at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will air live on ABC.
