There will be a familiar face on the sideline for Monday’s Week 13 game between the Denver Broncos (7-5) and Cleveland Browns (3-8).

According to Benjamin Allbright of KOA 850 AM, Michael Morell, former acting director of the CIA, will operate a parabolic microphone on the Browns’ sideline.

Morell, 66, was sworn in as director of the CIA in May 2010, succeeding Stephen Kappes. He served in the role until his retirement in September 2013. Apparently, microphone operator is the latest retirement gig for Morell, who previously hosted the “Intelligence Matters” podcast for CBS News.

Browns, Broncos set for Monday Night Football showdown

Tonight, he’ll be assisting NFL Media, and the Broncos will surely be hoping someone as experienced as Morell when it comes to capturing information won’t be engaging in any suspiciousness on the Cleveland sideline.

While many will notice Morell, the hot ticket remains the game itself, pitting two teams going in opposite directions. The Broncos are looking to further cement themselves as a playoff contender, while the Browns are looking for win number three in their last 10 games.

Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix called the opportunity to play on Monday Night Football “what you dream about.”

“These are awesome [games], and [they are] why you play this sport,” Nix said this past Friday, via the team’s official website. “This is why you play the game and what you dream about for the NFL. Every week, you feel like you’re playing one of the top guys. It’s just how good the league is and how supreme the talent is. All we can do is worry about ourselves. We just need to focus and execute.”
