Frankie Muniz announces return to NASCAR Truck Series at Talladega after wrist injury

After missing four races on the NASCAR Truck Series schedule, Frankie Muniz is set to return this week at Talladega Superspeedway. Muniz is going to take control of his No. 33 Ford F-150 this week for Reaume Brothers Racing. The actor-driver is excited to return.
No matter who you are, no driver wants to see someone else behind the wheel of their ride. It is an unsettling feeling that many end up experiencing due to injuries, family emergencies, or a slew of other reasons.
This week, Frankie Muniz is back. Talladega is a chance to get a great finish. Muniz’s one and only top-10 happened at Daytona to open the season. Can he capitalize and earn another good finish this time around?
“I’m thrilled to announce that I’m officially BACK after that pesky broken wrist sidelined me,” Muniz posted on social media. “Docs gave me the green light, and I’m hitting the track again THIS WEEK at Talladega!
“I’ve been itching to get behind the wheel, and this break only fired me up more. Super motivated to crush it and finish the season strong!”
Frankie Muniz has had one heck of a season this year and not necessarily for good reasons. There have been mechanical failures, wrecks, and random incidents that have taken this 33 team out of races before they ever really get going in them.

Frankie Muniz returns with ample opportunity at Dega
The bright side of this situation, if you were going to be out for multiple races, Talladega might be the best place to return. Especially from a wrist injury. Hold that wheel steady and find which line is pushing and with two laps to go, close your eyes and pray.
In the past, Frankie Muniz has shown a knack for superspeedway racing. The Daytona race to start this season, his starts in ARCA. Really, there is no pressure on Muniz. No one expects much from Reaume Brothers trucks, he’s coming off an injury, and this year hasn’t been one to write home about. So, go out there loose and see what happens.
It is always great to have Muniz in the Truck Series or whichever racing series. He is a great personality, passionate about the sport, and even in his lowest moments you can tell he is itching to get back to racing.
After missing four races, Frankie Muniz is back. Can he make something special happen in Alabama this Friday?
