Big news today for Frankie Muniz as he announces his plans for the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. The actor-turned-driver is back in the No. 33 Ford F-150 with the newly rebranded Team Reaume.

Frankie Muniz went through a lot in the 2026 season. He had mechanical issues on the track that inhibited his performances. His races were cut short by things that were simply out of his control. It all culminated in his DNF at Nashville, where his truck’s oil line came loose on Lap 1 of the race.

While there were struggles, the end of the season provided a few glimmers of hope. P14 and P19 at Michigan and Pocono showed that the speed was there. Muniz had perhaps the best P23 finish at Martinsville I’ve seen in the equipment he was in. Then, he finished the year with a P19 finish at Phoenix.

Back for 2026 in the 33 truck, Frankie Muniz announced another bit of news. He’s going full-time racing in the Pirelli GT4 America Series in a TechSport Racing Ford Mustang. His co-driver will be Tyler Stone.

Frankie Muniz is going to race 38 times in 2026. That’s a full Cup Series schedule! Between the Truck Series and the GT4 America Series, there is a lot of reason to be excited for Muniz fans. Sports cars are where Muniz has traditionally had the most success in his racing career. It will be fun to see him racing in the GT4 Mustang.

So, we’re getting more Muniz in the 2026 season. It has been really fun to follow his career in NASCAR. It shows that it is better late than never when it comes to living out your dreams.

Frankie Muniz has busy 2026 schedule set

With teams like Team Reaume, it is hard to judge what success is. Many times, it can be finishing on the lead lap, other times, it’s a top-20 finish, and in rare moments, it is a top-10 at a drafting track. Frankie Muniz had success at Reaume in 2025.

Ford Performance rebranded to Ford Racing. Reaume Brothers has changed to Team Reaume. A lot of rebranding going on here, but hopefully, that means a new focus on performance, speed, and overall ability on the track.

Muniz is a fun driver and can draw a lot of eyes if he even finds a touch more success. If he can earn a top-10 at Daytona or Talladega and then pick up a top-15 finish or two at a traditional oval, it might be a season to remember for Muniz and the 33 team.

38 chances to catch Frankie Muniz behind the wheel of a race car or truck this year. A lot to look forward to in 2026.
