Geno Smith trolls 49ers crowd with Steph Curry 'night, night' celebration after game-winning TD
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith found the freon coursing through his veins on Sunday evening, as he made a game-winning touchdown run in the final seconds of his team’s matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. He ran for a 13-yard touchdown to lift the Seahawks to victory. Afterwards, he didn’t hesitate to troll the 49ers crowd with a Steph Curry, ‘night, night’ celebration.
It’s the 10th game-winning drive since 2022 for Geno Smith, the most in the National Football League during that stretch.
Following the win, he spoke with Pam Oliver on the field. “Team win. Team win. It took everybody. I gotta catch my breath a little bit. It took everybody, man. Everybody played great. I felt like our defense was phenomenal. I thought our offensive line played great. Olu stepped in there and did his thing. How bout it, man. How bout it? We needed to get this win and we did,” Smith explained.
“It’s big. But it’s one win. We’ve got to build off of this. I think our team. We showed a lot of fight. We showed a lot heart. Especially at the end, man. It’s great. I love when the ball is in my hands at the end of the game, man. What more can you ask for?” Smith noted.

Geno Smith finished the day with over 240 all-purpose yards and one touchdown. He finished with 221 passing yards through the air and 29 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Coming into Sunday’s game, the former West Virginia star has completed 68.1% of his passes for 2,560 passing yards, while tossing in 11 touchdowns with 10 interceptions.
In the 2023-2024 campaign, Smith completed 64.7% of his passes for 3,624 yards, while tossing in 20 touchdowns with 9 interceptions. It was still the second-best season of his 10-year NFL career thus far. A big reason for the dip in production was he played in 15 games in the 2023-2024 season, as opposed to 17 in 2022.
