The Green Bay Packers have begun hosting 2023 NFL draft prospects for top-30 visits. On Wednesday, Virginia standout receiver Dontayvion Wicks will be at the Packers facility for his visit, according to NFL insider Tom Pelissero.

After his visit with the Packers, Wicks will fly to Chicago to meet with the Bears on Thursday, per Pelissero’s sources.

A starter for each of the past two seasons, Wicks broke Virginia’s single-season receiving record in 2021 with 1,203 receiving yards. He also added nine touchdowns on 57 catches. He followed that up in the 2022 season with 30 catches for 430 yards and a pair of touchdowns across eight games.

The talented receiver appeared in 10 games as a true freshman before suffering an injury in the offseason that kept him out all of the 2020 season. He bounced back for his record-setting season in 2021.

Wicks joined the team in 2019 as a four-star recruit out of Plaquemine High School in Plaquemine, Louisiana. He ranked as the No. 114 receiver and No. 802 overall prospect in the class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

NFL teams can host 30 prospects leading up to the 2023 NFL Draft. On top of Green Bay and Chicago, Wicks will also visit the Dolphins in Miami.

At 6-foot-1, 205 pounds, Wicks is the No. 19 wide receiver on ESPN’s best-available board for the 2023 draft. The No. 19 wide receiver off the board last year was coincidentally Romeo Doubs who went to Green Bay with the No. 132 overall pick.

At UVA Pro Day, Wicks clocked 40-yard dash times of 4.55 and 4.52, which was an improvement on his 4.62 in Indianapolis.
