Ahead of Sunday afternoon’s game against rival Minnesota, Green Bay has announced its list of inactive players.

This is an incredibly important game for both Green Bay and Minnesota as both teams try to keep up with Detroit in the NFC North. The Packers are just 2-4 this season and are coming off an incredibly frustrating loss to the Denver Broncos. That was the third loss in a row for Green Bay and their fourth loss in five games. Still, a win over the Vikings would catapult the Packers into second place in the NFC North. However, a loss would tie Green Bay with Chicago at the bottom of the division.

Below, is the list of inactive players for the Green Bay Packers in this vital divisional game.

Packers inactives

One player who has been interesting to follow throughout this season for Green Bay has been running back Aaron Jones. Health issues have made him a major question mark each weekend and in his absence, AJ Dillon has needed to step up. Even in Jones’ return last week, Dillon still got the majority of touches for the Packers.

At the same time, the quarterback position is the biggest issue in Wisconsin. This is former first-round draft pick Jordan Love‘s first season as the team’s starting quarterback. He has flashed potential but struggled overall. That includes seven interceptions to only four touchdowns in his last four games.

Following the loss to Denver, Love reflected on critical errors that he and the entire team made.

“I think there are critical errors in these situations,” Love said. “It’s on everybody. Not starting the game fast. Not putting up points quickly comes back to bite us in the end. We’re trying to do everything we can to fight and claw, and I think everyone does that. The effort is always there. Everybody’s fighting. Everybody’s straining. But, like I said, not putting up points in the first half is coming back to bite us.”

At 2-4 going into the game against Minnesota, only four NFC teams enter Week 8 with a worse record than Green Bay this season. In the team’s first year since moving on from future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the Packers need answers quickly to turn things around.
