Green Bay Packers respond to Anthony Davis' insane flex

Anthony Davis has never been shy about his fandom for the Green Bay Packers. On Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers star made sure to take care of business on the court — so he could catch the end of his favorite team’s victory.
“Put the ball in my hands so we could hurry up and get the game over-with,” stated Davis, after a Lakers victory. “My Packers are playing. We couldn’t go into overtime. I didn’t want to lose the game and be mad, and not watch the Packers. We had to hurry up and get it done.”
To illustrate, the Lakers were embroiled in a close contest with the San Antonio Spurs. Instead of letting his opponent make a furious comeback to tie the game, Davis turned up the pressure — leading the Lakers to victory.
The former Kentucky star stuffed the stat-sheet, scoring 34 points and bringing down 15 rebounds. Additionally, Davis also had six assist and two steals during the game.
While Davis was motivated by getting a victory for his squad, it’s evident he was feeling the heat of getting off the court in-time to watch his Packers. Luckily, Green Bay repaid the Lakers star — getting a victory over the Seattle Seahawks for Davis.

“I was never a football guy and then when I got to the NBA. Guys were like you got to have a team,” revealed Davis. “Knew some guys from the Packers and just became a fan. I get a lot of hate and stuff from it, but I don’t really care.”
The Lakers star has never been shy about his fandom, even showing up to a playoff game in Green Bay back in 2020. Still, Davis’ family isn’t happy with the star’s decision to root for the Packers.
“I hear a lot from my family. My dad pulls his hair out every day trying to figure out why I’m a Packers fan,” Davis said. “It’s football at the end of the day.”
Anthony Davis is one of the Packers most-famous fans. It may not make his family happy, but the Lakers star won’t care as long as Green Bay keeps up their winning ways.
