Ahead of their matchup with the Seattle Seahawks this week, the Green Bay Packers have made their injury report available from Wednesday’s practice. While not listed on the injury report, the Packers are not yet sure if they will be without quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Sunday after he tested positive for COVID-19 before last week’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Packers vs Seahawks injury report

Did Not Practice – Packers: TE Dominique Dafney(Hamstring)

The Packers did not have Dafney in practice on Wednesday, but the list of players completely out is smaller than this time last week. The biggest name missing in practice was Aaron Rodgers, who is out on the COVID-19 protocols.

Rodgers is optimistic that he will return for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks, but his availability requires him to test negative for the virus on Saturday. The earliest he can return to team activities is Saturday as well, meaning he will be without the week of practice if he does play.

Limited Participation – Packers: T Dennis Kelly(Back), DL Kenny Clark(Back), DL Kingsley Keke(Concussion), WR Equanimeous St. Brown(Ankle), CB Eric Stokes(Knee)

Kelly being injured continues to be a concern as the season nears the midway point, while the Packers health on the offensive line has been relatively okay so far.

However, the Green Bay Packers’ offensive line could be getting a huge boost.

David Bakhtiari is available to play in this week’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, the Packers announced Wednesday. He hasn’t played at all this year after tearing his ACL on New Year’s Eve in practice and has spent the season on the PUP list.

Getting Bakhtiari back would be huge for Green Bay’s offensive line. Last year, before his injury, he was a huge reason why the Packers allowed just 21 sacks — a mark that ranked second in the NFL. This year, Green Bay allowed 19 sacks through nine games, which speaks to the impact Bakhtiari has on protecting quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Clark and Keke are both still battling injuries, including Keke still being in concussion protocols. The biggest news for the Packers may be Eric Stokes participating in practice on Wednesday, albeit in limited capacity. His participation means he is not only doing rehab workouts, but is able to work on the field.

Full Participation – Packers: DL Dean Lowry(Hamstring)

While Lowry is still dealing with his hamstring injury, he was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. The indication is that he is progressing in his recovery and the Packers hope to see him on the field this week. Cornerback Kevin King is notably not on the injury report this week as well.
