The guests were announced for week 3 of Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli Manning, and their list features two huge names joining them during the game. NBA star LeBron James and Alabama head coach Nick Saban will be joining the program.

Manning brothers’ Monday night guests

Announcing their guest list ahead of the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles game on Monday night, the Manning brothers have some big names joining them.

Their first guest of the evening will be quarterback Matthew Stafford, followed by LeBron James and Nick Saban in what is sure to be full of interesting conversations. Finishing the night is former Eagles defensive end Chris Long.

With an exciting game on the broadcast between rivals Dallas and Philadelphia, the extra attention on Monday night will see some of the highest-profile guests of the broadcast’s early weeks.

Eli Manning recently had a detailed conversation with Saban on Eli’s newest show on ESPN+, Eli’s Places. A highlight of his appearance, Saban took Manning out onto the water and attempted to flip him off of an inner tube tied to his boat.

With college prospect Arch Manning narrowing down his choice of schools, their conversations tonight may involve Alabama and what Arch is considering. Another potential topic with Saban is No. 1 Alabama’s upcoming showdown with the Ole Miss Rebels. The Rebels are Eli Manning’s alma mater, before he was the first overall draft pick in 2004.

‘Manningcast’ growing in popularity

Though the first broadcast of Peyton and Eli Manning’s alternate NFL broadcast received little attention, it generated enough interest from word of mouth and highlights to increase the next week.

For the week two Lions-Packers game, ESPN2 averaged 1.86 million viewers, a +132% increase from week one.

A major reason for the increase in popularity is the guest list the Mannings have had on Monday night. Ahead of Saban and James, they have already had a great mix of former and current professional athletes.

  • Charles Barkley
  • Ray Lewis
  • Rob Gronkowski
  • Travis Kelce
  • Russell Wilson
  • Pat McAfee
  • Brett Favre

The interesting guest list and knowledge of all involved make for a unique perspective on the traditional NFL viewing experience.
