Fans were given a treat during the Elite Eight when Iowa and LSU matched up in a rematch of the 2023 national championship game — and it did not disappoint. Clark and LSU’s Angel Reese were the talk of the basketball world heading into Monday. Both competed to the very end as Clark finished with the aforementioned 41 points and 12 assists. Reese was just as impressive in her own respect, logging 17 points and was undeniable on the boards with a game-high 20, 10 of which were on the offensive glass.

On the other side of things, USC and UConn went down to the wire. After the Huskies jumped out to a double-digit lead out of the halftime break, the Trojans marched their way back to tie the game in the fourth quarter.

But is was the heroics of Bueckers that would prove to be the difference in the game down the stretch. She finished the game having done a bit of everything, logging a double-double with 28 points while also logging 10 rebounds to go with 6 assists.

Now, these two schools will meet on Friday with a chance to play in the national championship game.
