Arkansas kicker Cameron Little was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the No. 212 pick in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Over three seasons at Arkansas, Little made 53-of-64 field goal attempts, and had a long of 56. Also handling kickoff duties, he allowed just eight returns during his final season. He earned a captaincy for the Razorbacks for the 2023 season, as well as All-SEC First Team honors, as voted on by the coaches.

Little’s freshman effort was an outstanding one, making 20-of-24 field goal attempts on his way to making the SEC All-Freshman team. The 20 makes was the third-most in a single season by a Razorback kicker, and his perfect 46-for-46 extra point attempts tied the seventh-most in program history.

As a member of the Class of 2021, Little was a three-star recruit out of Southmoore (Okla.) High School, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 21 overall prospect in the state of Oklahoma and the No. 1 kicker in the class.

While with the Razorbacks, Little helped the team reach a 7-6 record in 2022 before a drop off to 4-8 in 2023. As a junior, he was part of the team that beat Kansas 55-53 in the triple-overtime Liberty Bowl game. In 2021, he helped Arkansas reach the Outback Bowl versus Penn State after notching a 9-4 record. Nine wins was the most by the Razorbacks since the Bobby Petrino era, and they got a 10th by beating the Nittany Lions.

Last year, Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman praised Little for his value to the team.

“We know that if we have the ball and we can get it anywhere close to the 35 [yard line], we can win the game,” Pittman said. “That affects the whole thinking, because if you’re going down there and going ‘if we don’t score a touchdown, we ain’t gonna make this kick.’ That affects everybody. He’s got unbelievable value to our team because we think he’s gonna make every one of them.”

What NFL Draft analysts are saying about Cameron Little

As far as what he’ll look like in the NFL, NFL.com‘s Lance Zierlein believes he has a future as a contributor.

“Little generates good velocity into the ball and hits it with consistency,” Zierlein writes. “He will leave some kicks out to the right on misses, but you won’t see dead pulls. He has the leg strength for the league and just needs to become more automatic on kicks from 40-49 yards out.”
