After months of build-up, Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are only hours away from clashing in the ring. Ahead of the bout on Friday, Paul made a bold prediction about the outcome of the match.

“KO [in] four or five rounds,” Paul said.

Paul has plenty of reason to be confident. He is 10-1 in his boxing career and currently on a four-fight win streak. Most recently, Paul defeated bareknuckle boxing champion and former UFC fighter Mike Perry via TKO in the sixth round.

Paul faced off against Perry in July after Tyson was forced to delay the fight because he re-irritated a stomach ulcer. Doctors forced Tyson to slow his training for over a month to allow his stomach to recover.

The extra time only allowed the animosity to grow between Paul and Tyson. When the two faced off at the final weigh-in on Thursday, Tyson stunned everybody when he slapped Paul. The YouTuber-turned-professional boxer claimed he’s thankful for the extra motivation.

“I’m so happy he did that,” Paul said. “This makes it real. It makes it personal. And when I beat his ass in a couple of moments here, no one can say anything. People want to see me fail. They want to see me lose. They want to see me get knocked out.

“Then, they’re going to make excuses for Mike Tyson when he’s the one that does that, but now they can’t. It’s personal, and I don’t care if we were friends before. This is serious now, and I’m knocking him the f*ck out.”

Although Paul is about to face off against the former heavyweight world champion, he said he isn’t feeling any anxiety.

“No nerves right now, man,” Paul said. “I think once I get into the ring, I’ll get a little bit of nervousness going. Just use it for energy. But, man, I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole entire life.

“I’ve worked for every single part of this… This is what I was made and destined for. This is my life goal. A dream come true. The younger version of myself would be so proud.”

As of this report, Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are expected to square off in the ring within an hour. The bout is streaming exclusively on Netflix.
