WATCH: Jalen Hurts pulls out multiple unique celebrations for Monday Night Football
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts provided some 90s nostalgia with one of his celebrations Monday night against the Commanders after completing a jump pass for a touchdown to Dallas Goedert. Hurts and receiver AJ Brown met in the end zone for a handshake that mimicked that of Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff’s characters from the sitcom Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
That wasn’t the only celebration from Hurts, however, as he also stood in the Heisman pose following the touchdown.

The touchdown was the second of the game for the quarterback, who also ran one in during the first quarter, and put the Eagles up 14-7. However, Jalen Hurts didn’t have a chance to break out any more celebrations after that, as Washington responded with 13 unanswered points to end the first half and take a 20-14 lead into halftime.
Hurts finished the first half 9-of-15 passing for 77 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He’ll hope to turn things around in the second half as the Eagles look to avoid their first loss of the season.

Brian Robinson shines on MNF touchdown run
The Washington Commanders made a strong statement near the end of the first half after rookie Brian Robinson scored a goal line touchdown. With Washington on the Eagles’ one-yard line, Robinson was given the ball for a run up the middle where he was stuffed initially and three Philadelphia defenders latched onto him.
As Robinson was wrestled to the ground, he refused to give up on the play and saw himself within an arms length of the end zone. Robinson stretched the ball out for the score while fighting with his feet — scoring on the extra effort and giving the Commanders a lead they carried into halftime against the undefeated Eagles.
After missing the first month of the season due to injuries sustained from being a victim in a car-jacking attempt and shooting, the former Alabama running back made a miraculous comeback to the Washington Commanders’ active roster earlier this season and continues to improve.
