Jason Kelce on Travis Kelce dating Taylor Swift: 'Think it's all 100% true'

Surely, there’s something to all those Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce dating rumors. (Couple name: Traylor). And it was big brother Jason Kelce who spilled the tea.

Or check that, we’re not sure whether Jason Kelce was joking when he seemed to confirm this newest superstar couple. Here’s the deal. The older Kelce is the center for the Philadelphia Eagles. On Wednesday, Jason did an interview on Sports Radio 94WIP in Philadelphia. Of course the hosts asked him about all the buzz swarming around Travis Kelce and potential girlfriend Taylor Swift. (Insert the squeals of middle schoolers to Gen Xers)

“It’s hard to answer because I don’t really know a lot about Travis’ love life,” Jason Kelce said Wednesday morning. “I try to keep his business kind of his business, stay out of that world. But having said that, I think he’s doing great and I think it’s all one hundred percent true.”

Jason Kelce has a beautiful wife and the couple are parents to three young daughers. So he’s very definitely off the dating market. But Travis is a different story. He’s one of the most popular players in the NFL. And during the offseason, he worked on his skills as an actor and commerical pitchman. He was everywhere and that included hosting Saturday Night Live and securing tickets to a Taylor Swift concert when the superstar dropped by Kansas City this summer.

In fact, Travis Kelce thought he had the perfect give plan for landing a date with Taylor Swift. He was going to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number. But it didn’t work. (Or did it? Hmmm)

He talked about his dating faux pas on the Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Kelce said.

“She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal, but it was an unbelievable show,” he said.

Then last week, a story in The Messenger gave the Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift rumors new legs. The site reported that the two have been “quietly hanging out.”

Now throw in this detail. Swift is a huge fan of the Eagles. Jason Kelce and his Philadelphia teammates appeared on Thursday Night Football last week. And the announcers slipped in a question about his brother and the superstar singer. He said Wednesday the question caught him off guard.

He said then: “I don’t really know what’s going on there. I know Trav is having fun and we’ll see what happens with whoever he ends up with.”
