Jerry Jones offers Taylor Swift an 'elaborate seat' for Thanksgiving Cowboys game vs. Chiefs: 'No one is a bigger fan'

On the morning of the release of Taylor Swift‘s 12th studio album ‘The Life of a Showgirl,’ Dallas Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones has proclaimed himself a ‘Swiftie.’ Bet you didn’t think you’d read that sentence today.
During a hit on 105.3 The Fan, Jones revealed that he would be ecstatic if Swift were in attendance for Thanksgiving night’s matchup between the Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs. Swift has attended Chiefs games for two years in support of her boyfriend/now fiancé, Travis Kelce.
“We would have an elaborate seat for her if she should attend the game,” Jones said, per Dallas News‘ Joe Hoyt. “No one is a bigger fan of Taylor Swift than I am.”
As of noon ET on Friday, 14 of the 15 top songs on the United States Apple Music charts hail from ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ album. ‘The Fate of Ophelia’ leads the way, followed by ‘Elizabeth Taylor’, ‘Opalite’ and ‘Father Figure’.
Jerry seems to be feeling himself a bit following Dallas’ 40-40 tie last Sunday night in a storyline-heavy matchup against the Green Bay Packers in AT&T Stadium. The Cowboys entered the game as home underdogs in Micah Parsons‘ return game and fought valiantly. Had Jordan Love‘s throw to the back of the end zone at the end of overtime been in the air for one second longer, Dallas would have stolen a 40-37 victory.

“That game was probably a great game for the NFL, as far as a showcase for the game and competition, because you had outstanding quarterback play, you had some very talented people out there playing,” Jones said postgame. “You certainly had one of the most expensive players in the history of the NFL out there playing. And so I guess everybody was going to take a look tonight and decide is he worth all that? It’s very simple. Dak (Prescott) was indispensable in my mind. And so yes, and Micah wasn’t.”
Now in the meat of the NFL’s regular season, the Cowboys sit at 1-2-1 and the Chiefs have won two consecutive games following a surprising 0-2 start. Swift’s fiancé, Kelce, currently ranks second on the team with 182 receiving yards and one touchdown.
That Week 13 matchup between the two teams on Thanksgiving is scheduled to kick off at 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS. The Cowboys are 34-22 all-time on the holiday, while the Chiefs are just 5-5.
