Joey Bosa heads to locker room following injury against Jaguars

Former Ohio State star Joey Bosa left the game in the first quarter against Jacksonville, heading to the locker room for further examination. Bosa appeared to hurt himself while pass rushing, remaining down on the field in obvious pain while trainers checked on him.
Bosa entered the injury tent on the sidelines, finally emerging after some time and walking into the locker room under his own power with a noticeable limp. The exact injury was not immediately clear, but Bosa was seen holding his leg in pain as he walked into the locker room.

The Chargers team provided an injury update shortly afterwards via their own social media, stating that Bosa had suffered a groin injury and was questionable to return to Sunday’s game.
Bosa has been one of the premier pass rushers in the NFL since being selected by the Chargers with the third overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft. In his seventh season with Los Angeles, Bosa has accumulated 59.5 sacks over his career and named to the Pro Bowl four times.
