Joey Logano rips 'that motherf*****' Ross Chastain for wrecking him at Chicago

Joey Logano was heated with Ross Chastain during Stage 3 of Sunday’s Chicago Street Race. The field got bunched up entering Turn 1 off the Lap 63 restart, Chastain slamming into the tire barriers.
Chastain kept his No. 1 Chevrolet moving, and in Turn 2, he drove directly into Logano, sending him spinning. Logano scolded Chastain on his radio.
“Ross better get the f*cking information right before he goes and wrecks somebody. And there’s f*cking six cars behind me wrecking into me, and then he destroys me from four back. That motherf*cker,” Logano said, via Jordan Bianchi of The Athletic.
Jeff Gluck of The Athletic later revealed that Chastain wasn’t told by his team that Logano was responsible for him going into the tire barriers. And yet, Chastain appeared to take matters into his own hands and send a message to Logano.

Joey Logano confronts Ross Chastain after Chicago Street Race
Chastain raced his way to a 10th place finish. Logano managed to finish one spot behind Chastain as the two drivers found a way to a pair of quality finishes in downtown Chicago. That being said, Chastain might have some payback coming his way. In fact, Logano confronted Chastain on pit road after the race. It looked to be a less than friendly conversation.
But on this Fourth of July weekend, it was all about Shane van Gisbergen. Chastain’s Trackhouse Racing teammate picked up the win from the pole position, completing the Chicago sweep after winning Saturday’s Xfinity Series race.
Van Gisbergen led 26 laps and held off Ty Gibbs and Tyler Reddick in the closing laps to get his second victory of the season. Just a Cup Series rookie, van Gisbergen is already building a case to be one of the best road course racers in the history of the sport.
