Joey Logano spins from the lead late in Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona: 'Freaking stuck'

Bad news for Joey Logano with only 10 laps to go in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona. He was leading before this moment. Logano, racing in front of Erik Jones, got loose with the airpacked on the back of his car and spun out in front of the field.
Good news, Joey Logano didn’t hit a wall. Bad news, he got stuck in the grass and needed a push out to get to pit road.
Someone is going to win this race. It likely won’t be Logano.
Joey Logano looked strong in this race before that spin. Team Penske was starting to get themselves lined up and working together. It was so close for Logano.
Good news, Team Penske still go the win. This race had a 7-lap green flag dash to the finish, and it did not disappoint.
Ryan Blaney wins after Joey Logano spin at Daytona
What a finish! Ryan Blaney and close finishes on superspeedways – what is better than that, folks? The 2023 champ does it again. Blaney made his way from 13th to 1st in the final two laps to claim the win in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona.

The NASCAR season did not end with a surprise winner and entrant to the Playoffs. Ryan Blaney shut that down in the last two laps. Cole Custer, Erik Jones, Justin Haley, Chris Buescher, Ryan Preece – they were all there and hoping to win this race in the end. Blaney broke all of their hearts.
There was a seven-lap dash to the finish to end this race. It wasn’t sloppy. Blaney was right where he needed to be and then finished the job on the last lap with excellent superspeedway moves.
Ryan Blaney started on the pole due to qualifying being canceled due to lightning. He had been putting together a string of strong finishes and races lately. It felt like a perfect storm for this win. But Blaney was largely absent from the front of this race after Stage 1.
A night race at Daytona that plays out like that? What more can you ask for? We had three lanes working during the race. There was enough chaos in the race to keep it all interesting. But things never got messy and frustrating to watch as a viewer.
