Joey Porter Jr. injury update: Steelers reveal CB's status for remainder of Week 12 vs. Bears

Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. suffered a hip injury during Sunday’s Week 12 road game against the Chicago Bears. He is questionable to return, the Steelers announced.
Porter previously left the game with a leg injury. He returned from that but has now exited again with a separate issue. Darius Slay, who did not play last Sunday with a concussion, has replaced Porter at cornerback. It’s been that kind of year for the Steelers’ secondary, which has dealt with injuries across the board, forcing Jalen Ramsey to play safety.
Porter started Sunday’s game opposite James Pierre. The 25-year-old got his second interception of the season in the second quarter, courtesy of an overthrow by Bears quarterback Caleb Williams. This is Porter’s first NFL season with multiple interceptions.
