Jordan Anderson Racing announces 2026 driver lineup, new technical alliance

A big news day for Jordan Anderson Racing. They have finalized their 2026 driver lineup and have a new technical alliance. JAR is teaming up with Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.
We knew Jeb Burton was returning to Jordan Anderson Racing. Now, we know that Blaine Perkins is also returning to the organization after impressing in the No. 31 a year ago. A third car will be fielded by various drivers throughout the season.
Top-10 performances at COTA, Portland, and two at Talladega, shows that Perkins can be serviceable in this 31 car. I’d argue that he’s improved both himself and the team in the last year. Year two could be even better.
That third Jordan Anderson Racing car is going to be interesting to watch. We saw Katherine Legge make starts with JAR this season. We also know that Rajah Caruth is looking to shore up the rest of his O’Reilly Series season for 2026. He’s racing part-time with JR Motorsports in the 88 car. Maybe the 32 car will be his other ride?
In the last few years, Jordan Anderson Racing has really improved. Adding a technical alliance with Richard Childress Racing could take this organization to the next level.

Jordan Anderson Racing joining growing RCR alliance
On top of Jordan Anderson Racing going to RCR for an alliance, Viking Motorsports is also involved in this situation. Viking announced their technical alliance this week. Without Kaulig Racing being a competition partner no longer, mostly due to association with Ram/Stellantis in the Truck Series, RCR has filled that hole.
Richard Childress Racing also has a new development driver, Carson Brown. Perhaps the 17-year-old, who turns 18 next year, could get some reps in that additional Jordan Anderson car? It would make sense given the association now between the two programs.
The next year in the O’Reilly Series will be very interesting. Ford basically has no footprint in the series any longer. That could be a major issue for the manufacturer if they don’t do something to correct that and soon.
Jordan Anderson Racing is going to get better in 2026. How much better? That depends on how well they are able to utilize this new alliance.
