Jordan Love injury update: Latest on Green Bay Packers QB

Jordan Love is set to have tests on his knee when the Green Bay Packers quarterback and team land in a few hours, per NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
“Packers QB Jordan Love will have tests on his knee when the team lands in a few hours,” he wrote on Twitter. “At this point, the severity is unknown.”
The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reported an ankle injury is no longer on the table.
“When the Packers land, Jordan Love will get an MRI,” she wrote. “I’m told an ankle injury has been ruled out at this point. Right now, it’s just wait-and-see for more information on the injury.”
Love was injured on the penultimate play in the Packers’ 34-29 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles Friday night.
Before going down with the injury, Love completed 17 of his 34 passes for 260 yards, while tossing in two touchdowns with one interception. He didn’t look quite himself for most of the night accuracy wise, and he had trainers working on his calf in the second half.

When he headed to the locker room after the game, Love was seen walking with running back Josh Jacobs and a trainer helping him exit the field. His status will obviously be a major concern for the Packers moving forward.
Many fans and analysts across the country had Love penciled in for a big season this year, after his breakout campaign in 2023-2024. In 17 games last year, he finished with 4,159 yards, while tossing in 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, establishing himself as one of the league’s best at the position.
This offseason, Love signed a four-year, $220 million extension that will keep him under contract for the Packers through until 2028. It also put him at the top of the quarterback market, earning $55 million a year.
