Jordan Love injury update: Packers QB exits game, Malik Willis takes over vs. Giants

Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love suffered an apparent shoulder injury during the first half against the New York Giants on Sunday. Malik Willis replaced Love in the game as he was evaluated in the medical tent before heading to the locker room.
Love took a hard hit by Giants LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles square onto his left should on the play and was slow to get up. The Packers QB would head to the locker room while Willis would go on to drive Green Bay down the field to score a touchdown.
He was listed as questionable to return while in the locker room. However, Love would return to the game before halftime.
Willis would end up hooking up with WR Christian Watson for a two-yard touchdown pass to try and even the score. Only, the extra point was missed so the Packers trailed 7-6 after the play.
His brief shoulder scare comes one week after the Packers QB appeared to injure his left hand in last Monday’s Week 10 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Love took a shot to his left hand that left his knuckles bloodied.
Love would not leave the game but ended the game with 176 passing yards — his lowest total of the season — and did not throw a touchdown against the Eagles. He was sacked three times in the 10-7 loss.
