Jordon Hudson likely to decline invite to be on Dancing with the Stars

Jordon Hudson, the significant other of North Carolina Tar Heels head coach Bill Belichick, has been making plenty of headlines lately. That ranges from an awkward interview on CBS Sunday Morning to finishing third at the Miss Maine Pageant. Despite that notoriety, she’s not going to be joining the cast of Dancing with the Stars.
Daily Mail is reporting that ABC is looking to round out its lineup of stars and celebrities for the 34th season of Dancing with the Stars. Hudson, apparently, has been in consideration long enough to get a call about the opportunity, though she’s considered likely to decline the invite.
“She likely will decline as it will be in the fall, the same time Bill will be coaching,” a source told Daily Mail. “And she wants to be there for him at UNC.”
The fall is a busy time of year for anyone involved in football at the NFL or college level. Jordon Hudson has also quickly proven to be heavily involved in the North Carolina football program too. Earlier in the year, Bill Belichick reportedly asked for her to be included on all emails, while other reports referred to her as his de facto agent.
When pushed about her role with the team, North Carolina GM Michel Lombardi laughed and did what he could to avoid the question. When he was pressed about Hudson’s role with the team, he ended his call with The Kirk Minihane Show. Perhaps unsurprisingly, there have been further reports that North Carolina is in discussions with a PR specialist amid the drama.

Despite likely turning down Dancing with the Stars, Jordon Hudson isn’t against doing television. In fact, there’s another kind of show the source said she’s interested in doing.
“Whatever Jordon would like to get into, in front or behind the cameras, she wants to do some shows in the hosting realm,” the source said. “She’s like to do a show like 1st Look if she had the chance.”
1st Look is a travel and lifestyle show that comes out weekly. It focuses on different travel destinations and the food and nightlife those locations offer. So, it’s perhaps understandable why Jordon Hudson would have an interest in that kind of show if possible.
What is interesting in Hudson’s potential television future is that she was already seemingly involved in another television decision at North Carolina. It had been reported that the Tar Heels were going to be involved in Hard Knocks before that later fell through. Later, it was reported that Hudson herself was integral in the show not coming to Chapel Hill.
