Josh Berry triggers big wreck at Darlington collecting Bubba Wallace, Noah Gragson, others

An absolutely massive wreck late at Darlington and it looks like Bubba Wallace has had his hopes for the NASCAR Playoffs dashed. Repairs have been made, but his car has a lot of damage.
Right after Chas Briscoe took the lead from Kyle Larson, a wreck unfolded in the top-10. Josh Berry shot the middle, went three-wide with Ty Gibbs and Denny Hamlin. Into the turn, Berry got into Gibbs and then, they were wrecked.
Multiple cars were involved. Bubba Wallace took a hit to the front bumper and the rear. Heartbreak in the regular season finale.
The wreck from Josh Berry set up the final run for this race. It would also lead to two drivers being knocked off the playoff bubble.
Neither Chris Buescher nor Bubba Wallace made the NASCAR Playoffs…
Bubba Wallace misses out on NASCAR Playoffs
In an absolutely mindblowing result, Chase Briscoe wins the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway and has completely upset the NASCAR Playoff picture. Kyle Busch tried to beat the Stewart-Haas Racing driver down the stretch but didn’t have enough time.

Chase Briscoe earns his second career win in the NASCAR Cup Series. His first win since Phoenix-1 2022. He wins his first crown jewel, the Southern 500. The 14 car is going playoff racing in the final year of Stewart-Haas Racing’s existence.
For Bubba Wallace and Chris Buescher, this means they are the odd men out. Briscoe was another new winner and that means the playoff bubble moved up a spot. Once Wallace took damage in that wreck he had no speed to make up track position.
Meanwhile, Wallace’s teammate Tyler Reddick, clinched the regular season championship by ONE point. It was a wild night in Darlington that ended with another new winner on the season. Chase Briscoe might have just earned Stewart-Haas Racing their final win as an organization.
