Arizona Cardinals (1-2) quarterback Josh Dobbs recently entered the team store looking to buy a jersey for his family.

Unfortunately for the 28-year-old signal-caller, the team store didn’t have any Dobbs No. 9 jerseys hanging, nor was he listed on the roster to have a customized jersey made on the spot.

“I know I just got here, but c’mon. We can at least have a custom jersey ready for me,” Dobbs jokingly said as he walked out of the team store. “Help your boy out.”

Hours later, the Cardinals came through for Dobbs, providing him with his own jersey. The Cardinals corrected the issue shortly after Dobbs went viral with the video.

“For those wondering, @josh_dobbs1 jersey availability from Saturday morning was quickly addressed and fixed by Saturday afternoon,” the Cardinals said.

Josh Dobbs has career day in win over Cowboys

Dobbs, whom the Cardinals acquired from the Cleveland Browns on Aug. 24, led Arizona to a 28-16 victory over the Dallas Cowboys (2-1) Sunday. The journeyman quarterback was efficient in the pass game, completing 17-of-21 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown. He added six carries for 55 yards on the ground.

It was a full-circle moment for Dobbs, whose first-career NFL start came against the Cowboys last season when he was with the Tennessee Titans.

“It was a tremendous full-circle moment because it feels like yesterday, man, I was getting ready for my first start on Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys [last season with the Tennessee Titans],” Dobbs said after the game. “So, yeah, it was a great full-circle moment and so it was good to take a moment to enjoy it.”

Not only did Dobbs and the Cardinals come out on top, but he woke up the next day in a trolling mood. Ahead of the game, Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons said he was putting Dobbs on a “bulletin board” and “throwing darts” at him. Dobbs responded via a TikTok, dodging actual darts before giving a “Go Cards” to the camera.
