Josh Jacobs injury: Packers RB exits game with knee issue, joins Jordan Love in locker room

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs suffered a knee injury in the first half of Sunday’s Week 11 road game against the New York Giants. He is out for the remainder of the game.
Jacobs joined Jordan Love in the locker room, though the Packers quarterback has since returned. Jacobs had seven carries for 40 yards before exiting the game.
His absence puts the Packers in a tough spot, as their offense has run through him all season long. Jacobs came into Sunday’s game with 608 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns on 3.8 yards per carry. He has been battling through an illness and a calf injury to play this season.

With Josh Jacobs sidelined, Emanuel Wilson is seeing the bulk of the touches out of the backfield. Wilson scored his first touchdown of the season shortly after Jacobs went to the locker room.
The Packers, coming off a disappointing Week 10 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles, will have to get it done in New York without Jacobs. The injuries are starting to pile up for Green Bay. They came into the game without tight end Tucker Kraft, receiver Jayden Reed and center Elgton Jenkins. They did, however, get Matthew Golden back.
