Justin Jefferson wins NFL Offensive Player of the Year

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson won the NFL Offensive Player of the Year award during the 2023 NFL Honors.
Jefferson went off in Year 3 with the Vikings, helping the team make the playoffs. However, the former LSU star could only do so much as the Vikings fell to the New York Giants in the NFC Wild Card game.
Jefferson was also First-Team All-Pro this season and is a three-time Pro Bowler.
“First and foremost I gotta thank the man upstairs,” Jefferson said. “Without him, none of this would be possible. The amount of blessings he has given me my whole career has been amazing. Secondly, I gotta thank my parents John and Elaine Jefferson, y’all have made me into the man I am today.
“I appreciate y’all so much. My brothers, Jordan and Rickey, y’all made me into who I am. You were so hard on me … you’re the reason I’m tough. I appreciate yall.”
Jefferson set career highs in 2022 with the Vikings. He caught 128 passes for 1,809 yards, eight touchdowns, 14.1 yards per catch and one rushing touchdown.
