Kansas City Chiefs fan dies at team's training camp

Heartbreaking news came out of Kansas City Chiefs training camp on Sunday. A woman attending Sunday’s practice has died, according to a report from KMBC News 9.
Mosaic Life Care released a statement on Sunday confirming the tragic death of Jessica Tangen, a mother from Riverside, Mo. She passed away after attending the open session of the team’s practice.
“We are devastated to share that one of the Kansas City Chiefs beloved fans, Jessica Tangen of Riverside, Mo., passed away Sunday morning during practice at Chiefs Training Camp,” Mosaic said in an official statement.
Caregivers from Mosaic Life Care were on hand at Sunday’s practice to provide medical assistance. Additionally, Buchanan County EMS and Missouri Western State University were on hand for situations in need of medical attention.

“Jessica’s family shared that she was a lifelong Chiefs fan and loved cheering for the team,” Mosaic’s statement said. “Please join us in lifting up the grieving family with your thoughts and prayers.”
Per KMBC News 9, Mosaic said it will not provide information regarding the events leading up to Tangen’s tragic death on Sunday. A cause of death remains unknown.
Many on social media extended their thoughts, prayers and condolences to the family.
