Patrick Mahomes' new house features custom football field, golf hole

Aerial shots taken of Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ new home in Missouri revealed that the couple have transformed their new property into a sports lover’s dream.

The massive house has many rooms, of course, and a swimming pool, but it also has half of a turf football field, as well as a par 3 golf hole, complete with a green-side sand trap. The field has Mahomes’ “PM” logo at midfield, as well as his last name in the endzone.

The Mahomes’ purchased the plot of land within a local gated country club community for a reported $400,000. Now, it has all the amenities a Super Bowl-winning quarterback and his growing family could need.

The property also has a large pond with a fountain as part of the expansive landscape.

As if their stunning new home wasn’t indication enough, the Mahomes aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. The Chiefs’ star quarterback signed a 10-year deal in 2020 that’s worth $450 million.

Mahomes sells first Kansas City home

With the new home wrapping up completion, the Mahomes’ put their original home in Missouri on the market for roughly $2.9 million. The 4,759 square foot, 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom home is already receiving offers and there is a sale pending.

The house, built in 1953 with roughly $400,000 worth of renovations, sits on 1.4 acres of land. Within the expanse of land, the Mahomes have a pool and a putting green.

Originally purchased for $1,925,000 on Feb. 8, 2019, according to Jackson County documents, the home is one of several properties the Mahomes own.

On top of the roughly $3 million Kansas City property, they also own Dallas-area mansion that he purchased for roughly $3.4 million in 2020. He still owns a two-bedroom Missouri apartment that he purchased as a rookie and failed to sell in 2019.

The Mahomes family expanded this year following the birth of Patrick and Brittany’s first son, joining their two-year-old daughter. As expected the house comes well-equipped for newborns with a fully decorated nursery.

Mahomes capped off his sixth year in the NFL with his second Super Bowl championship. The only quarterback to top 5,000 passing yards in the regular season, the former Texas Tech star also added another 703 passing yards in the postseason.

Mahomes had 41 passing touchdowns in the regular season and another seven on his way to winning it all.

Netflix, NFL films, Omaha Productions and Mahomes’ 2PM Productions were there to capture all the on-field and off-field drama for season one of ‘Quarterback,’ which premieres on Wednesday.
