Although the Wildcats started the season off 1-3, they’ve since won two of their past three games. A win against their rival would do wonders in helping them continue to turn a corner in the second half of this season.
As for the Jayhawks (4-3, 2-2), they are coming off of a 42-17 loss against Texas Tech in Week 7. They are led by sixth-year quarterback Jalon Daniels, who has thrown for 1,752 yards and 18 touchdowns to only two interceptions this season.
Kansas owns the 64-53-5 all-time lead in the series, but it is Kansas State who has won 16 straight meetings entering this contest. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a 29-27 victory last season, and the Jayhawks will hope this can be the year they finally snap that losing streak.
