Kaulig Racing finalizes 2025 Xfinity Series lineup, names Christian Eckes to No. 16 car

The 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series lineup for Kaulig Racing has been finalized. Christian Eckes is going to take over the No. 16 car. Eckes is in the midst of a championship battle in the Craftsman Truck Series.
There were rumors that Christian Eckes could have gone Cup racing in 2025. One of those Front Row Motorsports cars looked like it could be his. However, the Truck Series driver is taking it slow, and moving up one notch on the NASCAR ladder.
Since 2023, Eckes has won seven races in the Truck Series. He has never made a start in the Xfinity Series. But that will change in 2025 as Kaulig brings him on for the full season.
Christian Eckes will join Josh Williams and Daniel Dye as Xfinity Series teammates. Williams will remain in the 11 car while Dye takes control of the 10 next season.
The 2024 season for Kaulig Racing was strange. It was not necessarily the best step forward for the organization. Daniel Hemric in the No. 31 full-time and then a mix of drivers in the No. 16 car for the Cup Series.
The Xfinity lineup was always solid. AJ Allmendinger, Josh Williams, and Shane van Gisbergen are quite the trio. Allmendinger is moving back to Cup and SVG is headed there as well with Trackhouse. Williams gets another season in the 11 car, which I think is great.
A three-driver lineup of Williams, Daniel Dye, and Christian Eckes could produce some very interesting results. Eckes appears to be a star in the making, Dye has a ton of potential, and Williams gives the team that blue-collar attitude that they need.

Christian Eckes is chasing a championship
Before finally moving on up out of the Craftsman Truck Series, Christian Eckes has one more goal to accomplish. In his second season with McAnally-Hilgemann Racing, Eckes has blossomed. That’s saying a lot coming off a four-win season in 2023.
Eckes took home the regular season championship. He is running off of six straight top-3 finishes with a dominating win at Nashville in the middle of that run. Eckes has only failed to finish in the top-10 once this season, a DNF at Atlanta.
Looking at his stats this season, it is easy to see why Eckes was named for a few jobs. Landing at Kaulig Racing appears to be a great move from the young driver. It’s a place that cares about winning, developing drivers, and having fun while doing it.
Christian Eckes is moving up to the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2025. The competition level of that series next year is going to be off the charts. A handful of drivers with superstar potential will be duking it out next season.
