Kaulig Ram Trucks reveals number lineup for 2026 NASCAR season

The Kaulig Ram Trucks team has made a major announcement for the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. We now know the number lineup for the five teams competing next year. It is still a mystery what the fifth truck will be used for.

Next season, Kaulig Ram Trucks is embarking on a brand new venture. Introducing a new manufacturer into the sport, building a five-truck team from scratch, and figuring it all out in the process.

Daniel Dye will race the No. 10 Ram 1500. Brenden “Butterbean” Queen will pilot the No. 12 truck. Finally, Justin Haley rounds out the full-time drivers we know about in the No. 16 truck. We already knew the Free Agent truck would be No. 25. The final truck will be the No. 14, which Kaulig says is still “Top Secret” as far as drivers are concerned.

That fifth truck is likely the “game show” truck. A number of grassroots drivers, such as Landon Huffman and Mini Tyrell, appeared to change their plans for something rather secretive, last-minute, about a month ago. Kaulig Ram Trucks has teased doing a reality show-style competition for one of its trucks. If they don’t put out that show soon, we are all going to know who it is before they can make an official announcement.

We won’t know who is piloting that truck for a while longer. However, if you’re a grassroots, short-track racing fan, you might like who ends up being behind the wheel. That is, if the rumors of the reality show competition are true, which they appear to be.

Kaulig Ram Trucks has solid lineup for 2026

Having five trucks going into the 2026 season, Kaulig Ram Trucks has a chance to play around a bit and also take the season seriously. Anchoring the organization with three full-time drivers with at least some NASCAR experience is great.

Look, Daniel Dye doesn’t jump off the paper, but he can handle himself. Dye can give you performances that help build a program. Justin Haley, a former Truck Series driver with three wins to his name in 53 races. He finished 3rd in the championship standings in 2018.

Then you have Butterbean Queen, who is just a NASCAR driver through and through. Personality, background, everything about him is blue collar, and he backs it up with wins and talent. He’s a rookie but just turned 28 last month. He could be the breakout star of 2026 in the Truck Series.

As for the other two trucks, Kaulig Ram Trucks gets to play around. Experiment, put different drivers in the 25 truck, give a grassroots driver a full-time chance of a lifetime in the 14 truck. It could end up endearing them to NASCAR fans as they build an identity and brand next season while also racing for wins and a championship.
