It sounds like the Steelers will have their starting quarterback for Sunday’s game against the Ravens. Kenny Pickett was a full participant in Thursday’s practice, per Pro Football Talk, putting him on track to get the start for the Week 5 divisional matchup.

Pickett suffered a knee injury in Pittsburgh’s 30-6 loss to the Texans last week. He was limited in Wednesday’s practice, leaving a question about his status for Sunday’s game up in the air.

The second-year quarterback left last weekend’s game in the third quarter. He completed 15-of-23 passes for 114 yards with an interception. Mitch Trubisky finished the game for the Steelers.

On Wednesday, Pickett said he’d be “ready to go” for Sunday’s AFC North showdown against Baltimore. Being upgraded to a full participant on Thursday is a good sign he’ll be on the field this weekend.

Pittsburgh received positive news on Pickett’s injury shortly after Sunday’s game. An MRI discovered that there was “no serious damage” to the quarterback’s knee, which was a great sign for the Steelers. At the time, though, there was a thought that he might miss a few games to get back to full strength.

“Steelers QB Kenny Pickett suffered a bone bruise in his knee that could lead to a short-term absence,” NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported. “The door is open for Pickett, who also has a muscle strain, to play this week, but the team may be smart with a bye in Week 6.”

But, if Pickett is cleared, it sounds like he will take the snaps for Pittsburgh.

Through four games, Pickett has thrown for 803 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions. The Steelers own a 2-2 record.

Will Steelers make ‘changes’ offensively?

After a discouraging offensive performance against Houston, head coach Mike Tomlin suggested that some things are going to change. What that means? We have yet to find out.

“Hell yeah there’s going to be changes,” Tomlin said when asked if he plans to make some tweaks, per Brooke Pryor of ESPN.

The offense has been subpar through the first four games. Fans are growing tired of the play-calling of offensive coordinator Matt Canada. The team needs some sort of spark to get the ball rolling.

So, will we see Pittsburgh finally make some alterations to the offense this weekend? We’ll find out Sunday with the Steelers involved in a pivotal division game against the Ravens.
