Kevin Harvick and the Harvick’s Happy Hour crew are turning their attention to the Brickyard 400 this weekend, as the NASCAR Cup Series will return to Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

After a couple of seasons racing the road course in Indianapolis, the oval returns for the Cup Series, and the vibes are immaculate. Harvick actually won the previous two iterations of the Brickyard 400, so who does he believe will join him in the history books? None other than Denny Hamlin.

“I kind of spilled mine earlier. I just keep picking the No. 11 to win,” Harvick said, before adding another bold prediction, as well. “I think I did pick the No. 11 last week. Yeah, I think they’re going to win it.

“I think they’re going to win the championship this year. They may not make it all the way through the playoffs, and you can give me a hard time, but if I had to pick today, that’s my guy.”

A 2-for-1 special from Harvick, as he’s obviously confident in Hamlin abilities. Elsewhere, Kaitlyn Vincie is confident Hamlin’s rival Kyle Larson can have a good run this weekend, after some subpar performances over the last couple of weeks.

“I’m going Larson,” Vincie said, choosing the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports wheelman to get the win, at the track he ironically raced at earlier this season, just not with NASCAR. “Kyle Larson this weekend.”

In response, Harvick pointed out Larson’s troubles, but he doesn’t hate the pick: “They had some missteps. But we’re in a very unique portion of the schedule, I will give you that,” Harvick responded. “… It’s a great pick, but they’ve been kind of hit or miss lately.”

As for Mamba Smith, his track record has been spotty regarding predictions, so who did he want to put the curse on this week? Well, things can’t get much worse for Kyle Busch, that’s for sure.

“I’m nervous to say anybody. … I do think it’s important for Team Penske to show out here, I think they have a lot of pressure on them. First time back here, feels like a Joey Logano type situation. He wins at first time tracks. But I think I’m going to go with someone who needs it really badly, and I’m going with Kyle freaking Busch,” Smith predicted, “KFB. I can’t make your season any worse than it already is, so go get you one. I can’t make it any worse.”

So the Harvick’s Happy Hour crew are rolling with Denny Hamlin, Kyle Larson and Kyle Busch, respectively. We’ll see if any of those three can kiss the bricks, or if a surprise winner is in-store for this weekend’s Brickyard 400.
