Kyle Busch's hilarious first attempt in midget car nearly ends in disaster: 'My ass is stuck'

In January, Kyle Busch is going to race in his first-ever Chili Bowl Nationals. So, the NASCAR star got fitted for his seat. After all, Rowdy has never raced a midget sprint car before.
As you can imagine, the 6’1″, 200lb driver is a tight squeeze in any sprint car. In a midget car, he almost had to be extracted.
This may actually be the main reason why Busch never gave this a try before. Let’s hope he learns how to get out of there quickly, just in case he has to.
For now, enjoy this hilarious video.
“My ass is stuck in the seat … I’m getting hot. I got a cramp,” Busch says while struggling to exit the vehicle.
Kyle Busch and his son Brexton have picked up dirt racing in recent years. Rowdy believes it is good for his son to learn car control. Now the two-time Cup champion is getting his hands dirty behind the wheel.
Both father and son won their respective midweek championships at Milbridge Speedway this year. You can tell that Busch has a lot of fun with it. Perhaps his loose and relaxed take on dirt racing will benefit him in the high-stress Chili Bowl.
Coming off a disappointing Cup Series season, having fun is important for Busch right now. Getting joy from racing is important for a high-level driver. There is a reason why Joe Gibbs Racing is now allowing their drivers to dirt race again after a two-year ban.
