Kyle Busch surprises NASCAR fan in the middle of Daytona traffic

When you are in Daytona, you have to keep your head on a swivel. Kyle Busch might drive up, honking his horn and shaking his fist. For one NASCAR fan, Busch was a welcome surprise while riding along in traffic.
Sometimes it is hard to remember that these NASCAR drivers and their families have to be normal people too. In Daytona, you never know who you are going to see out and about, eating at the local restaurants, or even hassling you in traffic.
This fan, decked out with Kyle Busch stickers and other NASCAR identifiers had a great surprise as Rowdy pulled up beside him, giving him a playfully hard time in traffic.
At least you know he’s a professional driver when he’s riding your back bumper.
I bet Kyle Busch was trying to get the family to Cheddar’s. Brexton’s gotta get those chicken tenders one way or another. So get out of the way, folks!
It looks like Busch is in a good mood this weekend. He is coming to Daytona fresh off his P4 finish at Michigan. For the first time in 10+ weeks, Busch had a complete race start to finish without issue and he pulled off his first top-5 since Dover in the process.
Rowdy is firing off P11 tonight in Daytona. He will have decent track position to start, hopefully staying away from the squirrels in the back. If he can make it to those final two laps, anything is possible.

Kyle Busch, RCR have found speed
Now, it might be because of the bad luck that Kyle Busch has had recently, or it might be because it’s true – but RCR has found speed seemingly out of nowhere. Austin Dillon won at Richmond, even with the insane way he did it on the last lap, he had the fastest car on the track before that final restart.
So, where did it come from? I think that RCR has had this speed for many weeks. Think back to Nashville where Busch was in the top-5 late before he got caught up in another wreck. There were times when it looked like Busch was turning a corner and then disaster would strike.
That’s not a lack of speed, that’s a lack of luck. I think what we have seen with Busch is 20 years worth of bad karma building up slowly. He’s been so successful in his career, one of these seasons was bound to pop up, statistically speaking.
What would you do if you saw Kyle Busch next to you in traffic? Any chance you try to beat him to the next stop light?
